How long cookies last

Session cookies are deleted automatically when you close your browser. They are used for temporary functions and store no long-term data.

Safari

Open Safari and go to Safari → Settings (or Preferences on older versions).

Select Manage Website Data to view and remove cookies from specific sites.
To block all cookies, tick Block all cookies. Note that this may prevent some websites from working correctly.

On iOS: go to Settings → Safari → Block All Cookies.

Microsoft Edge

Open Edge and click the three-dot menu (⋯) in the top right corner.
Go to Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data.
Click See all cookies and site data to find and delete cookies from individual sites.
To block third-party cookies, enable Block third-party cookies.

On mobile browsers, cookie settings are usually found under the browser's main settings menu, then Privacy or Site Settings. The steps vary by device and browser version.
